Dr. Kevin Dale Schramm: Dr. Kevin Dale Schramm was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah. He received a B.S. in biology/zoology from Southern Utah University in 1992. He entered Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997. He is also a graduate of the CSU Medical Acupuncture Course in 2006. His interests include surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, and pain control.
During his time at CSU, he met and married one of his classmates, Adrienne. Kevin and Adrienne never left the Fort Collins area. They have been serving clients in the Fort Collins area since 1997. It all started with a mobile practice out of the back of their pickup and it has evolved into Paws 'N Claws.
Kevin enjoys any outdoor activity such as camping, fishing, hunting, and motorsports. He has a son from a previous marriage, and two grandsons. He and Adrienne have a daughter and three more sons. Kevin and his family have a pet Ball Python named Reggie, a turtle named Sandy, a Chocolate Lab named Dutch, a Black Lab named Billy, and many fish. They currently reside in Wellington, Colorado.
Dr. Adrienne Schramm: Dr. Adrienne Schramm was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. During her high school years, Adrienne also attended a nearby college and graduated high school in 1981 with an A.A. degree. Adrienne then attended the University of California at Riverside and graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in music. In 1984, she entered the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, acquiring a Bachelor of Music in voice performance in 1988 and a Master of Music in the same subject in 1990. Adrienne then made a career change and entered Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1993, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997.
Adrienne's hobbies include music, photography, karate and spending as much time as possible with her family.
Dr. Kelcie Glick: Dr. Kelcie Glick is from the Southwestern part of New Mexico. She went East for college, receiving a Bachelor’s of Art in Science from Goshen College in Indiana, and worked for the Humane Society animal shelter in that area for a year after graduation. Dr. Glick then attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009.
After graduation, Dr. Glick came to her senses and moved back to the West as quickly as possible. She moved to Ft. Collins, and worked at a clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming until 2014, when she transitioned to the Paws ‘N Claws team.
Dr. Glick and her husband, Nate Roth, share their home with two awesome Catahoula Leopard Dog mixes named Echo and Evelyn, their "bad cat" Pixel and a small collection of frogs . In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities (with the dogs whenever possible), playing ultimate frisbee, and a wide variety of arts and crafts. She has a steadily-increasing orchid collection and a small jungle of other plants.
Elton: Elton was born and raised in southern New Mexico. He moved to Colorado in 2006. He is married with three children. He has been working at Paws ‘N Claws since 2006 as a veterinary technician when he’s not attending school. He received a BS in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University in 2010 and a MS in Environmental Health focusing on Toxicology in 2011. He is currently attending the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to earn his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. We can't wait for him to rejoin the Paws 'N Claws team as Dr. West. Go Elton!
He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, hosting neighborhood backyard cookouts, and spending time with his family and friends. He has three pets; a St. Bernard mix named Genny, a Chihuahua named Tony, and a Siamese mix cat named Vinny.
Gwen: Gwen joined the Paws 'N Claws Veterinary team as a technician in October 2008. She is originally from New Jersey, however, soon after her birth Gwen moved to Pennsylvania and lived there until 1990 when she relocated to Colorado. After high school, Gwen went to massage school but did not pursue working as a massage therapist. Because of her special bond with all types of animals, Gwen decided to enroll in the Vet Tech program at Front Range Community College. She graduated in August of 2008 with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
Gwen enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cats Maceo and Oswin. Her hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding, dirt biking, and camping.
Sarah: Sarah joined the Paws 'N Claws team as a receptionist in February 2012. She is a Colorado native and has lived in Colorado her whole life. Sarah graduated from CSU in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Equine Sciences, and later went on to work at Equine Medical Service as the office manager for 6 and a half years before joining Paws 'N Claws.
When Sarah is not working at the clinic, she can often be found caring for people's animals and houses when they are out of town. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending as much time as possible being outdoors, and spending time with her husband Vincent and his daughter. Sarah's favorite activities include horseback riding, camping, hiking, snowboarding, and 4 wheeling. She has a Blue Heeler/Basset Hound named Rocco and a Quarter Horse named Bullwinkle.
Brynna: Brynna joined the Paws 'N Claws team in June 2015 as a veterinary technician. Brynna was born and raised in southern Colorado and moved to Fort Collins in 2001 where she attended Colorado State University earning a Bachelor's degree in History. After working in both graphic design and pharmacy she became a stay at home mom to her daughter. In 2015 she decided to re enter the workforce and completed the Front Range Community College's veterinary assisting program.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, watching movies and traveling. Brynna and her family now live in Loveland and have two dachshunds, Molly and Chase and two orange tabby cats, Oliver and Bo.
Devin: Devin joined the Paws ‘N Claws team in May of 2015 as a kennel assistant, and now she is working as a technician. Devin was born in Wyoming but has lived in Fort Collins for most of her life. She started her journey here as an intern and was hired shortly after finishing her internship. She is currently studying Biology at Colorado State University with a goal of attending Veterinary School.
Devin enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and snowboarding. She has two dogs, a Chihuahua named Prince, and a Chiweenie mix named Frankie.
Jessica: Jessica and her cats have been coming to our practice since 2010, but she officially joined our team in the summer of 2015. Jessica is from California, but she really enjoys living in Colorado, and she has been here for years. She graduated from CSU in December of 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Zoology.
When Jessica isn’t working she enjoys working out, reading, going to concerts and hanging out with her three cats-Finn, Jasper, and Niles.
Molly: Molly joined the Paws N’ Claws team as a receptionist in November 2018. Originally from the Midwest, Molly moved to Colorado to finish up her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Colorado State University. Wanting a job that helps both people and animals, she decided to go back to school and received her Veterinary Technician Assistant Certification from Front Range Community College in 2016.
Molly enjoys spending her free time at her gym, with friends and family and snuggling her two cats, Ava and Lilith.
Erin: Erin grew up in Norco California where she attended Riverside Community College earning a certificate as an emergency medical technician. She moved to Colorado with her four little kids in 2013, where she obtained a job as a phlebotomist for UC Health.
Wanting a career change, she is now attending Front Range Community College in their Veterinary Technology program and is set to graduate in summer of 2019 with her associates in applied science degree. Erin came to Paws ’N Claws in July of 2018 for an internship for school. After completing her internship, she joined the Paws ’N Claws team permanently.
